Take off directly with the SPLEENE FABFOIL BOARD.
You have full control and maximum driving experience. With the side bevels, a touchdown is no problem – regardless of whether you are a beginner or your motto is “foiling at the limit”. Two sizes for your optimal setup: 145 cm long – as an all-round foil board and 125 cm long – as a pocket foil board.
Highlights of the FABFOIL BOARD in detail
Direct take off
The FABFOIL BOARD planes very early. The large area at the bow and the flat bottom curve will quickly lift you out of the water. Even with the small FABFOIL BOARD with a length of 125 cm you have a lot of space at the bow and despite the compact pocket design you can get out of the water quickly. You will never feel like your board is stuck to the water.
Easy water start
Particularly important for many: a simple water start. The FABFOIL BOARD is as easy to launch as you are used to from normal kiteboards. This happens due to the minimal volume. The FABFOIL BOARD is easy to press under water and does not float. You can position your feet at your leisure and never have to “fight the board into the right position”.
Multi foil + strap positions
At the rear of the FABFOIL BOARD you can mount your foil in different positions. Find your sweet spot – whether strapless or with straps. The hole spacing for foil mounting is 90 x 165 mm and the inserts are designed for M6 screws.
The standing area of the FABFOIL BOARD is designed with an EVA pad. This offers maximum grip, even for strapless foilers. Straps can be mounted in different positions and you alone decide whether you find the best hold in one, two or three straps.
Solid construction
The FABFOIL BOARD is made in a solid snowboard construction. A wood core is the basis for this and offers cushioning and driving experience at the same time. Specially arranged fiberglass layers ensure robustness and force distribution.
3D bevels
The special feature of the FABFOIL BOARD 25 & 45 is the 3D bevel shape. Both sides are bent open parallel to the longitudinal axis. This makes the board very stiff, making it easier to control. Control commands arrive directly at the foil wings.
In addition, the lateral bevel ensures very soft immersion – even with strong edges. The dreaded clipping is thus prevented and you always have full control over board and foil.
Optimized shape
A flat bottom curve in the stern and a lot of surface area in the bow ensure fast and easy planing. The small area at the rear means that the board does not clip, even at high speeds and with strong edges. A lot of flexing at the nose avoids unwanted undercutting.
